Getting to Budva

You cannot reach Budva directly by train. The nearest railway terminus is 39 km away at Bar. Bar is connected by direct trains to Sunotica, Novi Sad, Nis and Belgrade. Podgorica, located 65 km away, has another railway terminus. The rest of the way, from either terminus to Budva, has to be covered by a hired car or by bus. Train reservations for the return trip are normally made at the Mercur bus station in Budva.
